Affordable Outplacement services are designed to help small companies and departments as they transition employees out of the company.

Affordable Outplacement is the brainchild of Jason Alba, CEO and founder of JibberJobber.com.  Jason designed JibberJobber during his own job search and realized it met a need that professionals had during their job search.  Jason started his job search with a homemade job search spreadsheet that worked for about 8 days.  As he networked and applied to jobs and found new target companies he quickly outgrew his spreadsheet.

Frustrated that job seekers didn’t have the same level of tools they had when employed, Jason came up with JibberJobber, a tool that replaces the job search spreadsheet and really empowers a job seeker.

Jason worked with outplacement companies offering their candidates (the job seekers) special access to JibberJobber and realized why he was never offered outplacement.  The company that laid him off was not a potential client of outplacement services.

Jason’s previous employer was in a downsizing mode and not interested in incurring large fees during the downsizing.  Incurring an additional cost of thousands of dollars per person was not an option.  Most outplacement providers, whether world-wide or small, niche outplacement shops, start their packages around $1,500 to $2,000 per person.
